What started as a dream between lifelong friends became a one-of-a-kind dining experience—One of us had a deep passion for cooking, the rest had his back. With over 20 years of culinary experience in top Japanese kitchens across Indonesia, Chef Agus leads Nishi Izakaya’s kitchen with mastery and soul. From Sushi Bars to Teppanyaki Grills, his journey reflects a deep dedication to Japanese cuisine. Known for his precision, creativity, and calm leadership, he crafts every menu with both tradition and flair.
Rahmad Hudori
Sous Chef
Chef Dori brings over 15 years of experience in Japanese and Asian cuisine, from International kitchens in Istanbul to Jakarta’s top dining spots. With a strong foundation in sushi and hot kitchen techniques, he supports our culinary vision at Nishi Izakaya with skill, heart, and an unstoppable drive to grow and lead.
